رقابتهای پهلوانی کورش از طرف نمایندگی فدراسیون این رشته با همکاری آمریت تربیت بدنی و ورزش ولایت جوزجان میان ۶۰ ورزشکار در مرکز شهر شبرغان برای مدت یک روز دایر گردید.
در انجام این پیکارها از میان ورزشکاران اشتراک کننده پنج جوره آنها مساوی نموده و بیستو پنج تن دیگر آنها با شکست دادن حریفان خود به مقام های قهرمانی دست یافته و حایز مقام های اول گردیدند.
