رقابتهای پهلوان میان بیش از ۱۰۰تن از سوی فدراسیون کورش و مدیریت بازیهای ملی و عنعنوی آمریت تربیت بدنی و ورزش ولایت بغلان با حمایت مالی صمد نیکزاد ،هاشم احمدی و م ل ا صاحب شاولی در استدیوم ورزشی شهر پلخمری به مدت یک روز برگزار شد.
هدف از برگزاری این رقابت ها رشد ورزش پهلوانی در این شهر عنوان گردیده بود.
و در پایان از سوی برگزار کننده گان به پهلوانان برنده جیلک اهدا گردید.
