نخستین دوره رقابتهای پنگ پانگ از طرف نمایندگی فدراسیون این رشته با همکاری آمریت تربیت بدنی و ورزش ولایت بغلان میان ۱۵ ورزشکار برای مدت یک روز در مرکز این ولایت دایر گردید.
در انجام این پیکارها از میان ورزشکاران اشتراک کننده داکتر ملک مقام اول، ذبیح الله مقام دوم و عبدالرازق و ذوالفقار مقام سوم مشترک را از آن خود نمودند.
هدف از برگزاری این مسابقات رشد و توسعه ورزش پنگ پانگ میان ورزشکاران عنوان گردیده است.
